Major? Misinformation Technology

ChatGPT: Your new favorite media outlet If you ever read anything about history before, you would know the media is really in control & whoever controls the media is only allowing you to see what they WANT you to see. If you have kept up with modern day news, you have probably seen that Jeff Bezos owns “Washington Post” and he has announced there will be a shift in what they are allowed to post and talk about what he deems “newsworthy.” According to politico.com, Bezos believes that “free-market views are not widely available in mainstream news opinion.” To me, that gives the same reaction as someone being upset that racism isn’t trending anymore (well that's debatable in a Trump america). It’s 2025, and a lot of people especially within Gen Z are getting their news via interesting outlets, one of them being TikTok. According to AXIOS.com, a 2023 Pew survey found that one-third of adults under 30 scroll TikTok for news, which is 255% up since 2020 when the platform first bl...

We’re 27 Months in to AI Taking our Jobs in 6 Months

We’re 27 Months in to AI Taking our Jobs in 6 Months By Ryan Monaghan Introduction     Artificial Intelligence has fundamentally changed the world we live in today. This is an irrefutable fact, and it has been used in school, work, and even to start entire businesses. Not everyone has adopted AI into their workflow, however, and I am one of those people.                The last time I visited Atlantic City in January, I recall seeing several large bulldozers and construction crews on the beach working diligently throughout the night. What they were doing was replenishing the beach, which is something being done along coastlines globally to mitigate the impact of rising sea levels. But Atlantic City is a special case, because the rising ocean is not just swallowing up the beach. It is impacting a growing number of disadvantaged residents and businesses during flood events, which are only projected to worsen over time.             With the intensification of climate change, sea levels in Atlantic City are rising at an alarming rate. According to climate researchers at Rowan University, Atlantic City’s sea level rose 18.2 inches between 1911 and 2022, which is more than double the global average. 1 This number can not only be explained by...
